Buying a second-hand car always fills me with dread, especially on this occasion when I had to change my much-loved Fiesta for something more up-to-date. However, I was looked after really well by Mick at Chandlers Ford. Nothing was too much trouble. He let us have a good look at the car, take it for a test drive, and put us under no pressure to buy - maybe that was a good sales tactic, as it made me want to buy it! He even delivered the car complete with a new MOT a couple of days later, telling me not to be afraid to ring him if I was worried about anything. My husband, who unlike me is a car enthusiast, has since put the car through it's paces and declared himself very satisfied. So far I've only admired my sporty little Mini Cooper on the driveway - it looks so lovely I hardly dare take it out, but apparently this must change soon - so fingers crossed!

For me, renewing my car was a big deal, more so, because I always buy secondhand and we all know this can be a risk. Therefore, finding the right car and from a trustworthy dealer was always high on my priority list. After trawling online for weeks I came across the perfect VW Golf for me and after seeing and test driving it, I was keen. Mick, was helpful and informative regarding the car's history and after a little negotiation I was trading in my car and driving away my new car. Unfortunately and to my distress, a few days later there was a fault with the turbo charger. At this point I truly realised what an effective and honest business was being run by Chandlers Ford Car Centre. Andrew & Suzi took the stress out of my situation by lending me a car whilst mine was in for repair. Not only did Andrew have the turbo charger replaced, but he personally bought a brand new one as opposed to a reconditioned one, all at their expense. The service and calibre of staff is exceptional.

My experience was good, i saw a car i liked online and went to see it and walked in to the car centre looked at the car (vw tiguan) i was greeted asked if ok i said i like this car they pulled it out so i could look better and left me to it which i liked no hassle, i test drove it and bought it the next day. This review would of been excellent but the back brakes were knackered and cost me £260 to fix but it's second hand and the car is excellent and the staff at chandlers ford car centre made this experience easy and relaxed woild recommend them

Mick and Andy are a friendly team and were able to have the car ready to be collected by the next day. They are very helpful and told me to go back to them if I had concerns about anything so seems like they offer a great after car service too.

Not that impressed, mazda cx5 just had a mot i could see anti-roll bar had been changed with new did all my usual checks that I would with a car and a good test drive to find out if any thing was wrong..found the car a nice drive but just before we left it noticed a nail in the front driver's side tyre but unfortunately on the edge..so this would mean a new tyre and in the add it said it had a reversing camera but when I tried to reverse no camera come on but a warning signal appeared where the parking sensors are...so no camera...? We took the car back to the sellers house and said about the problem with the reversing warning ⚠️ light but came up with that it wasn't there before we had taken the car out ...? Made me fill as it was my fault...? And he would sort out the the tyre witch I had no problem with but when it came down to asking about the price there was no negotiation on price what so ever...all he said was, if the car is not for then it's not for you...and he has other people interested in the car ...look that the oldest trick in the book..but to have no negotiation on price then you don't get anywhere..with a car that has faults and your happy to send out with a doggy tyre..good luck in the future 😉

Sorry to learn of your experience with us, any issues with the car would of been rectified before delivery, a nail in the tyre is just one of those unfortunate things that can happen and go unnoticed if the tyre doesn't go flat. IF we stand firm on a price then we feel that the car represents good value for money with similar models for sale. I think you can see from all my other reviews that i do the job very well in terms of looking after my customers. I have been in the motor trade for 36 years, I only wish i could please all the people all the time.

I bought a Honda CRV from here in 2024 and the DPF went seriously wrong within a few months. Honda and several garages locally can't fix it for much less than the car is worth. Really bad purchase and no help from the seller.

These guys seemed good in the beginning but in all honestly I wish I’d never used them. It’s ended up costing me more than I paid for the van just 4 months after. Complete engine rebuild and they told me that it was a trade sale... unbeknown to me! Avoid like the plague, these guys offed to send me £250 gratuitous and I took that on face value and accepted as a best of a bad situation, then they never answered the phone again. Called on multiple occasions with multiple numbers and every time I got on the phone another round of false promises and lies. I have held off from this review believing they would do the right thing, but now I have no choice as I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through what I have. This company is dodgy from the ground up. No doubt they will attempt to make me sound like a non genuine customer but I can assure you this isn’t the case, and I wouldn’t be the first person they have done that to online. Thanks chandlers Ford.

Elliot, Actually I am treating you as a genuine customer but what you are saying in your review is not the truth, firstly you signed a statement which stated you were buying it as seen with no warranty which was explained to you before we took any money off you, this was because of the age and mileage of the vehicle. Secondly Mick asked for your bank details so the agreed amount of money would be paid to you by the way of a bank transfer and we didn't hear from you after that at all. We have since moved premises with obviously a new telephone number so I can understand that you might of been trying to contact us to no avail but you clearly had our email address to be able to contact us regarding the matter. When you say you have phoned us and got a load of false promises that is just untrue. You also state in your review that you wouldn't be the first person this has happened too but I think if you read our reviews they clearly speak for themselves.
